The bobbin vase was inspired by the form of old wooden sewing bobbins. Using a lathe, each piece was hand-turned to carve its shape. It comes with a glass beaker that fits snugly inside so that you can put plants in water without soaking the wooden vase. It’s finished off with the company’s own wood cream made from beeswax.

RetRe is a brand that aims to recycle abandoned material in village forests and transform them into useful tools that also show the many expressions that nature creates. As these are natural products that have been damaged by worms there are holes, black bores, differences in colour, and wood grain. Needless to say, there are no more worms present!
RetRe Designer YAMAZAKI Yoshiki aims to put a new face to tools that are close to everyday life. Born in Toyama Prefecture in 1976, he founded BLOCK DESIGN in 2011.
Please note that each vase will vary.
