Made from Futagami's expertly crafted solid brass, these chopstick rests come in an attractive wooden case. Part of Futagami's Home Goods range, the Crystal chopstick rest is based on a theme of light, designed to show off the glistening gold on the surface of the sand-cast brass. They have a crude casting surface, giving them a raw and organic feel.
The wooden case will keep your chopsticks tidy whilst doubling up as a stylistic object.
Over time, the surface of the brass will oxidize through daily use, developing character and charm. Its original lustre can be maintained through the use of a polishing cloth.

Designed by Oji Masanori in collaboration with Futagami Company Ltd, Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture. Futagami was founded in 1897 and has a long history of making brass artifacts.
