EDU was born in 1979 in Tokyo. After graduating from Musashino Art University in 2002, he worked on corporate packaging design before beginning product development based on structural design of paper in 2007. EDU became involved with Kami No Kousakujo Book Book through the 'Black and White Animals' series of cards.
